AI Connections

Ask AI about Vinkius

The AI Connections tab: search the Vinkius catalog, browse categories and curated shelves, and find the right capability for your AI. Everything here is developed, maintained and hosted by Vinkius.

AI Connections is the discovery tab of the console, the front door to the Vinkius catalog. Everything in it is developed, maintained and hosted by Vinkius, and every Connector carries the MCP VERIFIED · PRODUCTION READY · VINKIUS GUARANTEED seal. There are no community uploads from strangers here: one quality bar, one operator.

The canvas is built around one search box that understands systems, not just names. The screen below is the real discovery view, running in the docs. Type "git", "email" or "database" and watch it filter; clear the box and the full catalog comes back.

View
The AI Connections discovery canvas, live. Type in the search box: the catalog filters as you type, exactly like the console.

The sidebar: three ways in, one counter

The left sidebar names the tab and shows the catalog size next to the title (it updates as the catalog grows, so it reads as a live number, never a fixed one). Below it, three collapsible groups, each a different way to arrive at the same place:

Library is yours. Activated gathers every connector you have enabled, with a live count badge; Favorites gathers the ones you hearted while browsing. If you open a Seller Account, two more shelves appear here: Published (your live Connectors) and Drafts (work in progress nobody else can see).

Explore is editorial, maintained by the Vinkius team:

ShelfWhat you find
Top CuratedHand-picked highlights: the connectors Vinkius recommends starting with.
Top TagsThe most used tags right now (search, email, crm, browser...), one click each.
Top CategoriesThe busiest categories of the moment.
Newest AI CapabilitiesFresh arrivals, newest first.

Discovery is one row per category, each with its own icon: AI, Automation, Communication, Developer Tools, Databases, Ecommerce, Finance, Marketing, Security, Vurb and more. Clicking a category filters the canvas to connectors that live in it, so "browse by goal" is always one click away.

Search that speaks systems

The search bar answers intent, not just product names: typing "send messages" surfaces Slack, "code" surfaces GitHub, "invoices" surfaces Stripe. While it runs you see "Searching the Vinkius catalog…"; when nothing matches, the empty state says so and suggests rephrasing.

Inside the search box, on the right, sits the Authentication filter:

FilterShows
Any AuthEverything in the catalog.
CredentialsConnectors that need an API key or login from another service.
No CredentialsConnectors that work out of the box, nothing to configure.

First five minutes on Vinkius? Filter No Credentials and you are one click away from a working connector, because nothing needs to be configured first. Credential-based connectors can come later, and most of them take a single paste in the connector's Credentials tab.

Reading the results

Results render as rows in a two column grid: logo, name, a one line description of what the connector unlocks, and the action on the right.

  • View opens the Connector, where you read the full description, see the complete set of AI Capabilities and enable the connector.
  • Connected (emerald) means the connector is already yours; the row takes you straight back to it instead of offering an enable.
  • Some Connectors read Managed Connector instead of a capability count: those are fully hosted and operated end to end by Vinkius.

Rows are clickable everywhere (logo, name, description, action), and the grid keeps loading as you scroll, exactly like the console.

From results to working connector

The happy path is three clicks: View opens the Connector, its Enable Connector button provisions it for your account, and Quick Connect hands you the tailored setup for your AI client. The next page walks the Connector itself: what every section means, and what really happens when you click Enable.
