Key Capabilities
Generate UIs from Your Sales Data
Tell Cline to "Build a React component to display all current sales pipelines." It will call `list_sales_pipelines`, get the data, and then write the actual TSX file for you. You get a working component, not just a code snippet. Cline can also fetch details for a specific record. Ask it to "Show me the info for contact ID 123," and it will use `get_contact_details` to pull the data and can then generate a view component to display it.
Automate CRM Updates with Cline
Stop manually updating records. You can ask Cline to write a script that finds a contact and changes their details. It will use `search_contact_by_email` and `update_existing_contact` to build the logic for you. This is perfect for repeatable tasks. For example, tell Cline to "Write a function to add the 'Inactive' tag to contacts we haven't spoken to in 90 days." It will generate the code that finds these contacts and then calls `apply_tag_to_contact`.
Cline Writes Tests for Your MCP Server Code
Cline doesn't just write application code; it writes the tests, too. After generating a function that uses `create_new_contact`, you can tell it to "Write a Jest test for this contact creation function." It will create a `*.test.ts` file that mocks the MCP server call and confirms your code handles both success and failure cases correctly. This lets you build reliable automations that interact with your Platform.ly account.
