Key Capabilities

Build Live Push Dashboards with Cline

Cline does not just display data; it writes the code to display it. When you connect this MCP server, Cline calls `list_pushengage_sites` and `list_pushengage_subscribers` to fetch live data, then writes the React or Vue components to render your active subscriber counts. It will create the files, import the necessary endpoints, and even run local tests to ensure the UI updates correctly. You get a fully functional, live-data dashboard built directly in VS Code without manually copy-pasting API payloads.

Automate Campaign Testing via Cline MCP Server

Testing push notifications usually involves manual API calls, but this MCP server lets Cline run end-to-end verification. The agent triggers a test notification using `send_pushengage_broadcast` and then reads the delivery logs with `list_pushengage_notifications` to verify success. If the delivery fails, Cline inspects your environment variables, checks the endpoint status with `check_pushengage_status`, and fixes the integration code on the fly. It handles the entire debugging loop so you do not have to trace raw network requests.

Sync Segments with Local Database Records

Let's face it: keeping your local database aligned with browser push audiences is tedious. Cline automates this by pulling subscriber segments via `list_pushengage_segments` and comparing them against your local PostgreSQL or MongoDB schemas. The agent writes the migration scripts, updates your user records, and saves the changes directly to your repository. It bridges the gap between your local development environment and live PushEngage subscriber data with minimal friction.

Common questions about PushEngage MCP in Cline

Yes. Cline can use `send_pushengage_broadcast` to test the channel, then write the backend Node.js or Python code required to automate those push notifications in your production app.
Open the Cline sidebar and click the MCP Servers icon. You can install it with one click from the Marketplace tab or manually configure it in your `cline_mcp_settings.json` file.
Yes, Cline uses `list_pushengage_triggers` to pull your active automation rules and inspects them. It can identify misconfigured campaigns and update your integration code to fix the issues.
Ask Cline to list your audience, and it will call `list_pushengage_subscribers` to fetch the records. It can then format the subscriber counts into a markdown table or write them to a local file.
All API calls go through the secure Vinkius gateway, meaning Cline never exposes your subscriber push tokens or secret keys to raw external logs. This MCP setup runs in an ephemeral, zero-trust sandbox to prevent data leaks.
