Key Capabilities

Fetch Chat Logs to Populate Variables

The `list_chats` tool lets you fetch chat histories by passing a JSON string of criteria. You can use this response directly in your code block as live context. Instead of using mock data, the AI generates working functions that include actual conversation transcripts from Serviceform.

Identify and List Chatbots via Cursor

Run `list_chatbots` to get a list of all configured chatbots. The AI can then use this list to generate code that iterates through your available conversational tools. This saves you from manually checking the documentation; the required service definitions are right there in the live API response.

Get Specific Lead Data for Code Logic

The `get_lead` tool retrieves specific lead details. You can write code that immediately checks a visitor's status—did they complete the form, or are they just browsing? This makes your application logic much tighter and more accurate because it uses real-time data from the MCP Server.

Setup guide

Set up Serviceform MCP in Cursor

Prerequisites

  • Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP Settings

Go to Cursor Settings → MCP or open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "MCP: Add Server".

  2. 2

    Add the Serviceform MCP

Cursor will create or open .cursor/mcp.json in your project root. Paste the JSON snippet on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Enable Agent mode

Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Serviceform transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Serviceform tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.
