Design Agent A to search the corpus using `search_assets` based on a topic. Agent B then takes those resulting IDs and calls `get_asset_details` for full context, validating every piece of content found. The crew operates with shared memory; the initial keyword from the user is passed directly into both searching and detail retrieval.

Mapping organizational structure in Showpad.

The Agents can collaborate to define the company map. One agent runs `list_divisions` while a second uses `list_tags` to cross-reference how those divisions are classified. This builds an authoritative taxonomy. The crew specializes roles: one expert handles organizational units, and another manages content classifications.

Set up Showpad MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke Showpad tools as needed.
