Key Capabilities
List All System Contacts
Need a roster of users for testing or building features? Use `list_contacts` to pull all contact records into your local component. This gives you the raw data needed to validate your application logic. You can then combine this with `list_contact_labels` to filter the list, ensuring your code only processes contacts marked 'VIP' or 'Sales Lead'.
Retrieve Specific Contact Details
When you need deep info on one user, call `get_contact_details`. This pulls all relevant fields for a single contact into your typed code structure. It’s far better than just listing them. This function is perfect for pre-validation logic before running an action. You check the data first; then you run the rest of the component.
Send Messages from Code
You can’t just assume a message will be sent—you have to code it. Use `send_message` by passing the target conversation ID and the exact text payload. This is direct, typed action. This makes your component reliable because you're calling a specific API function that writes the message history directly.
