Key Capabilities

Execute Video Generation Jobs CLI

From the command line, you initiate content creation using `generate_video`. This is ideal for scheduled tasks or CI/CD where a human can't manually click buttons. You simply pipe the necessary parameters to the tool. Once launched, monitor progress with `get_job_status`. The terminal handles the asynchronous nature of video rendering cleanly.

Scripting Asset Retrieval with Spiritme MCP Server

Your scripts need asset IDs. Run `list_avatars` to get a full list, and then call `get_avatar --id <ID>` for detailed metadata extraction. This structured output is perfect for parsing into subsequent steps. Similarly, fetch template details using `get_template --id <ID>` before running the generation command.

Managing Video Lifecycle via Terminal

The server lets you manage assets end-to-end. If a scheduled video needs to be pulled back or deleted, execute `delete_video --id <ID>`. This is a crucial function for maintaining clean content pipelines. You can also use the listing tools—`list_videos`, `list_templates`, `list_voices`—as initial checks in your script.

Setup guide

Common questions about Spiritme MCP in Claude Code

The best approach is to first retrieve all necessary IDs (`list_*`), then use those IDs to call `generate_video`, and finally, poll for completion using `get_job_status` within your script.
The server primarily deals with media manifests: template structure (JSON), avatar/voice metadata (strings), and the final binary video files. All interactions are text-based initially.
You wrap your generation script in a loop that iterates through language codes. Inside the loop, you call `get_voice` for the correct locale and feed that ID directly into `generate_video`. It’s pure scripting power.
The primary limitation is error handling complexity; you must build robust try/catch blocks around every tool call, especially when dealing with network failures or invalid IDs.
Yes. Always run a dry-run script that checks the status using `get_job_status` on an old job ID first, before attempting to generate any live content.
