Key Capabilities
Build a Customer Search Utility
You can write a script that handles customer lookups entirely within VS Code. Start by listing all customers using `list_customers`, then build filtering logic around the `search_customers` tool. The resulting code will accept parameters and use them to query for specific accounts, which is perfect for building internal tooling.
Payment Reconciliation Scripting with Cline
Write a function that validates payment records against customer data. Your script calls `get_payment_details` first, then uses the resulting ID to call `get_customer`. This pattern lets you write robust code that cross-references transaction history with current account information before writing to a database.
Inventory and Catalog Reporting
Need a report comparing what's sold versus what's available? Your script can pull the full catalog list using `list_catalog` and then iterate through items, calling `get_stock_count` for each one. This builds an immediate inventory snapshot you can commit directly from your IDE.
