How to Use the TextGrid MCP in Google ADK
Build enterprise messaging agents using the Google ADK for Gemini.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect TextGrid MCP to Google ADK

Key Capabilities
Manage billing and usage records.
To keep things accurate, use `get_usage_statistics`. This tool lets your agent pull detailed cost reports. You can see exactly what services you're being charged for. It also checks account status with `get_account_details`, giving a clear snapshot of current credit and profile information.
Send structured SMS/MMS messages.
The agent sends texts or pictures by calling `send_sms_message`. This tool handles the complexity of global messaging standards. It makes sure your content gets delivered reliably. For quick history checks, you can pull a list of past interactions using `list_sms_messages`.
Verify phone numbers for compliance.
Before calling anyone, the agent runs through number availability. It uses `search_available_numbers` to find new lines or `list_account_addresses` to check regulatory addresses. If you need to confirm a current number is active, running `list_active_phone_numbers` confirms its status for immediate use.
