Key Capabilities
Build multi-modal journey scripts.
The `get_journey` tool allows you to script complex journeys between two locations. You can write code that iterates through multiple route options, comparing total duration and fare estimates. Instead of just reading a plan, your agent uses this data to calculate optimal pathing for a dashboard component or an automated alert system.
Check live service status programmatically.
Use the `get_line_status` tool to fetch current service status across all TfL lines. This lets your script check if, for example, the Overground is experiencing Severe Delays before running a core process. The output structure gives you line IDs and severity levels, so you can write logic that automatically triggers an alert if anything falls below 'Good Service'.
Find infrastructure details via MCP Server.
The `get_stop_point_details` tool provides rich metadata for any given TfL stop point. You feed it a station ID and get back info on step-free access, fare zone, and served modes. You can use this in your build process to verify if an API endpoint should only be hit by users needing full accessibility details.
