How to Use the 2Chat MCP in Cursor
Write code that triggers WhatsApp alerts and manages groups directly from the Cursor agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect 2Chat MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect 2Chat to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate working code with live WhatsApp checks
Let your Cursor agent write integration scripts that actually work on the first run. The editor uses `list_numbers` to fetch real sender lines, inserting active account data instead of placeholder strings. While you write your backend logic, the agent runs `check_number` to test your database contacts. You get clean, validated code based on real-time WhatsApp network responses.
Build group management tools inside Cursor
Designing custom chat ops tools becomes simple when your editor can talk to WhatsApp. This MCP Server exposes `create_group` to the Cursor agent, letting it generate and test group-creation scripts on the fly. The agent pulls existing group IDs using `list_groups` to populate your configuration files. You don't have to keep a browser tab open to copy UUIDs.
Debug automated messaging directly in the editor
Testing notification pipelines is faster when your IDE can send the tests. Cursor invokes `send_message` to dispatch actual WhatsApp payloads while you inspect the execution logs. You can verify text formats and media links without switching to an external API client. The agent handles the authentication and reports back directly in your chat sidebar.
