How to Use the 4YouSee MCP in Cline
Let Cline manage your 4YouSee digital signage screens, audit media files, and write layouts directly in VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect 4YouSee MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect 4YouSee to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Live Signage Dashboards with Cline
The `list_players` tool exposes your entire screen inventory to your VS Code workspace using this MCP connection. Cline calls this tool, reads the JSON output, and builds a custom web dashboard showing which screens are active. You get a fully coded UI in minutes. Your agent writes the React components, sets up the state, and shows you the diff without you typing a single line of CSS.
Media and Layout Auditing using Cline MCP Server
The `list_medias` tool fetches your complete content library to identify missing or bloated assets. Cline checks these files, compares them with layouts from `list_templates`, and writes cleanup scripts. This process saves hours of manual content QA. Your agent spots mismatched aspect ratios and flags files that will break your physical players.
User Group Management inside VS Code
The `list_users` tool pulls your current signage platform directory directly into Cline. Your agent compares this list against your internal team rosters and writes update scripts for missing accounts. It keeps your access control clean. Cline identifies stale accounts and highlights discrepancies without you logging into the web portal.
