Connect 7shifts MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect 7shifts to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write live restaurant data integrations inside Cursor
The `list_employees` tool retrieves your complete staff directory directly into your editor's active context. Your agent uses this live roster to write, test, and debug custom tools without relying on static mock data. When you write custom internal tools, Cursor reads the actual structure of your team directory. This ensures your code handles real employee profiles and email formats correctly on the first run.
Build custom scheduling logic with this MCP Server
The `create_shift` tool programs new work shifts into your team's live calendar. Your agent writes scheduling scripts that call this tool, passing the required user IDs and ISO 8601 timestamps directly from your codebase. You can verify your scheduling logic instantly by letting Cursor run the tool. It inserts a test shift into your development roster, letting you confirm your date-parsing code works before you deploy.
Validate location configurations during development
The `list_locations` tool fetches all departments, roles, and physical venues configured in your account. Cursor reads this structural data to help you map internal database IDs to your actual restaurant setup. This stops you from hardcoding IDs that might change. Your agent queries the live endpoints to build dynamic dropdowns or mapping tables directly in your editor.
