Calling `get_realtime_metrics` pulls live queue statistics straight into your editor chat. You commit the configuration file to your repository so every developer gets the same access instantly. Team members stop asking for API keys or sample payloads. The AI client simply fetches the current wait times and agent statuses whenever someone needs to test a new internal tool.
Query historical agent interactions
The `list_agent_interactions` tool retrieves past call resolution metadata based on dates you provide. Copilot uses this to help you debug reporting discrepancies using this MCP tool. Getting the exact interaction logs into your editor context makes fixing data pipelines trivial. You ask the agent to grab a specific user's call history, and it writes the exact SQL or script needed to process that specific format.
Analyze queue performance data
Running `list_queue_metrics` extracts historical wait times and volume numbers for your support lines. The server authenticates through Vinkius and delivers the raw metrics to your chat window. Building capacity planning tools requires realistic data structures. Copilot grabs the historical blocks and generates the correct aggregation logic based on the actual API response schema.
