Connect AccuWeather MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect AccuWeather to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code with live MCP Server data
Your `get_hourly_forecast` tool lets your agent pull actual 24-hour metric data into your editor while you write a forecasting widget. You tell Cursor to build a React component for tomorrow's weather. Instead of generating fake placeholder text, it grabs real wind speed, direction, and cloud cover. Your UI renders exactly how it will look in production because the AI is working with live JSON responses.
Build complex location search logic
Firing `search_location` through the MCP connection forces your AI client to handle real-world duplicate city names before writing the routing logic. You ask it to write an autocomplete dropdown for a travel app. It tests the endpoint with "New York" and sees the exact array structure returned by the API. The agent then writes the correct parsing code to extract the location keys, countries, and regions without guessing.
Test severe alert components instantly
Active flood warnings arrive straight to your workspace via `get_weather_alarms`. You need to style the emergency banner for a local news website. Cursor asks the API for current severe events and uses that exact severity level and description to populate your component props. You see the red warning banner render in your local preview environment immediately.
