Standardize weather data in VS Code Copilot
Data from `get_current_conditions` pulls RealFeel temperature and UV index directly into your team's shared workspace. You commit the MCP configuration to your repository. Every developer instantly gets the ability to query live precipitation data without managing their own API tokens. Your agent writes consistent data-fetching logic because everyone is talking to the exact same endpoint.
Plan around long-term forecasts
Calling `get_extended_forecast` through this MCP integration gives your AI client 15 days of high and low temperatures for capacity planning apps. You ask Copilot to build a scheduling algorithm for a construction firm. It grabs the two-week precipitation probability to determine which days are safe for pouring concrete. The agent writes the conditional logic based on real upcoming weather patterns instead of hypothetical scenarios.
Verify administrative boundaries
Verified administrative boundaries come from `get_location_by_key` right away. You need to map weather events to specific sales territories in your database. Copilot checks the region and timezone returned by the API to ensure the data matches your internal codes. It writes the database migration scripts using confirmed location identifiers.
