Build automated user directories in VS Code
The Aconex MCP Server gives Cline direct access to your global and project-specific directories. Cline calls `search_global_directory` to find external contractors, then writes files to sync them with your codebase. You don't need to copy-paste user tables anymore. Just ask the agent to build a dashboard component using the active user list, and it handles the rest.
Clone project structures from the sidebar
This MCP integration exposes powerful project setup tools to your IDE. Cline uses `copy_project` to spin up staging environments based on existing production project templates. The agent verifies the schema immediately. It runs `get_register_schema` to map out the document register structure, ensuring your code integrates with the new project layout.
Maintain user statuses programmatically
This toolset allows Cline to manage active accounts without leaving your editor. The agent executes `update_user_status` to toggle access for offboarded contractors based on your text files. It keeps your projects secure. Cline checks who is active by running `list_organization_users` and flags accounts that do not match your local roster.
