…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Actionstep MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Actionstep to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Draft documents with Actionstep data
This MCP integration feeds live practice management records directly into your VS Code environment. Cline reads your instructions, pulls the required case facts, and writes the brief or contract end-to-end. The agent executes `get_matter_details` to grab the core facts, then creates the markdown or Word file in your workspace. You just review the diff and approve the changes.
Manage contacts via this MCP Server
Manually copying client information from your browser to your editor breaks concentration. Your coding agent handles the data retrieval so you stay in the IDE. Whenever you need to reference a specific party, Cline fires `list_contacts` to find the exact record. It can even execute `create_contact` if you ask it to parse a new client email and save the details.
Surface legal tasks instantly
Project management usually lives in a separate tab. Now your autonomous agent checks your daily requirements and builds a local to-do file automatically. By triggering `list_legal_tasks` alongside `list_action_types`, the extension cross-references what needs doing with the correct matter workflows. You get a prioritized list without leaving your code.
