Generate search code in Cursor with this MCP Server
The AddSearch MCP Server gives Cursor's agent direct access to your live index structure via `list_documents`. Your editor reads the actual document schema to write precise integration code. Instead of relying on static mock data, Cursor pulls real payloads using `search_keyword`. This means the code your agent generates works with your actual API responses on the first run.
Inspect live search results inside Cursor
The `search_filtered` tool lets Cursor query your production AddSearch index directly from the editor sidebar. You can test queries like category filters without switching to a browser or Postman. Cursor uses `search_sorted` to help you debug sorting logic while you edit your frontend search components. You see exactly how your changes affect result ordering in real time.
Track search analytics from your Cursor workspace
Cursor pulls your latest user search trends using `stats_queries` and `stats_clicks`. This lets you analyze what users search for while you are actively developing your site's search interface. The agent matches these query logs against your codebase to identify missing content. You can quickly write new pages to fill those content gaps right inside your workspace.
