Pull Analytics Reports from the Terminal

The `get_report` tool lets you fetch any Adobe Analytics report directly from your command line. You can pipe the JSON request body to Claude Code and get the report data back on stdout, perfect for scripting. This is built for automation. Run a cron job that uses `get_report` to pull daily user stats and pipes the output to a database or a monitoring tool. No browser, no UI, just pure data.

Integrate this MCP Server into CI/CD

Use these tools as part of your deployment pipeline. The `get_metrics` and `get_dimensions` tools can be used in a script to validate that a new deployment hasn't broken analytics tracking. For example, add a step in your GitHub Action that runs Claude Code. It can call `get_metrics` to check if a critical conversion metric is still present after a code change. If not, the build fails. It's a simple, powerful check.

Build Dynamic Shell Scripts

The `list_report_suites` and `list_segments` tools make your scripts more dynamic. Instead of hardcoding IDs, you can have your script query for them first via the MCP server. A bash script could use `list_report_suites` to find the ID for a specific domain, then use that ID to run a series of reports with `get_report`. It makes your automation less brittle and easier to maintain.

Common questions about Adobe Analytics MCP in Claude Code

You pipe a JSON report request to `claude mcp run adobe-analytics-mcp get_report`. The tool returns the Adobe Analytics report data as JSON to standard output, which you can then redirect to a file or another process.
Yes. Add a step to your CI script that uses Claude Code to call `get_metrics` or `get_dimensions`. You can then check if expected values exist, and fail the build if your analytics tracking is broken.
Run `claude mcp run adobe-analytics-mcp list_report_suites` and `grep` for the name you need. This gives you the Adobe Analytics report suite ID programmatically, so you don't have to hardcode it in your scripts.
Yes, that's what the `list_segments` tool is for. Run `claude mcp run adobe-analytics-mcp list_segments` to get a JSON array of all your configured Adobe Analytics audience segments.
The connection is secured using a single endpoint token managed by Vinkius. The MCP Server only interacts with Adobe Analytics metadata, like segment or metric lists, and report data you explicitly request. The server itself is stateless; it doesn't log or store your analytics data at any point.
