How to Use the Adyen MCP in Cline
Cline handles your Adyen payment operations. Fetch data, process refunds, and manage accounts without leaving VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Adyen MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Adyen to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates Adyen merchant lookups
Cline calls `list_merchants` to scan your company profile for the right ID. You don't have to hunt through web portals to find your US or EU merchant accounts. Once the ID is found, `get_merchant_details` pulls the technical status. Cline presents the configuration so you can verify your integration parameters immediately.
Execute Adyen refunds with Cline
Tell Cline to refund a specific transaction and it runs `refund_payment` for you. It checks the PSP reference and calculates the amount based on your instructions. This agent handles the entire request loop. You get a confirmation in the sidebar once the refund is logged against the original payment.
Deep dive into Adyen payments with Cline
Cline uses `get_payment_details` to fetch full authorization history for any transaction. You paste the PSP reference, and the agent returns the exact state of the capture. This MCP Server allows you to troubleshoot payment issues in real-time. Cline writes the results into your workspace so you can keep a record of the investigation.
