How to Use the Adyen MCP in Windsurf
Stop hunting for PSP references. Let Windsurf handle your Adyen account and payment lifecycle directly in the editor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Adyen MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Adyen to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Windsurf manages your Adyen merchant accounts
Cascade pulls your active merchant profiles through `list_merchants` so you can verify regional configurations instantly. You skip the dashboard login entirely when you need to confirm account status. Use `get_merchant_details` to check technical settings for any specific account ID. Cascade identifies the active configuration so you can debug payment routing logic without leaving your code.
Process Adyen refunds using Windsurf
Trigger a refund via `refund_payment` the moment you detect a failed transaction. You just point the agent at the PSP reference and the amount. Windsurf audits the transaction metadata before execution. It prevents manual errors by reading the payment history first, ensuring you don't over-refund a customer.
Inspect Adyen transactions with this MCP Server
Cascade uses `get_payment_details` to pull authorization metadata for any 16-digit PSP reference. You get the raw status and capture info without switching context. This MCP Server provides the granular data you need to trace payment failures. Cascade displays the result right in the chat panel for immediate review.
