Set up Agendor MCP in Claude Web or Desktop

Open Claude Settings

Go to claude.ai, click your profile icon, then navigate to Customize → Connectors.

Add Custom Connector

Click the "+" button and select Add custom connector. Paste your Vinkius endpoint URL: https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. For OAuth-protected servers, expand Advanced settings to add credentials.

Start a conversation

Open a new chat. The Agendor MCP tools are available immediately — no restart needed.

Open Claude Desktop Settings

Click the menu icon at the top-left corner, go to Settings → Developer → Edit Config. This opens claude_desktop_config.json in your default text editor.

Paste the Agendor MCP configuration

Copy the JSON snippet on the right into the mcpServers object. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

Restart Claude Desktop

Close and reopen the application. Claude needs a full restart to load new MCPs — refreshing a conversation is not enough.

Verify the connection

Open a new conversation. Click the 🔌 icon at the bottom of the message input. You should see tools listed under agendor-mcp.

Common questions about Agendor MCP in Claude Desktop

You have two options. For local use in the Claude Desktop app, add the server to your config file. For use in the browser at claude.ai, just paste the Vinkius MCP Server URL into the Custom Connectors settings.

Not with this version. The Agendor toolset currently supports creating people and organizations, but not deals. You can, however, list active deals with `list_deals`.

The desktop app runs the MCP server as a local process, which is great for development and offline access. The web version connects to a remote URL, which means zero installation and access from any device.

Yes, you can connect the Agendor MCP Server on all Claude plans, including the free tier. The ability to add custom connectors is available to all users.
