Connect AgentMail MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect AgentMail to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline handles email end-to-end
Cline uses `list_inboxes` to see what you have available. It then uses `send_message` to fire off replies or new emails based on the tasks you give it. Everything stays inside your VS Code flow. You tell the agent what to send, and it executes the request against the API.
Read and parse email data
When you need to act on information trapped in an email, Cline uses `get_thread` to extract the relevant text. It maps the conversation flow so it understands the full context of a project. If there are files attached, `get_attachment` brings them into your file tree. Cline reads the base64 data and saves it to your project folder for you.
Maintain clean inboxes
Cline can organize your communication by creating new inboxes for specific tasks. Use `create_inbox` to set up a dedicated address for a client or a project. If you need to clean up, `delete_inbox` removes the entire history. This is helpful when you want to avoid cluttering your development environment with old test data.
