Connect AgentMail MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect AgentMail to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Team-Wide Email for Copilot
Drop the AgentMail config into your project's `.vscode/mcp.json` file. Now every developer on your team who pulls the repo gets a Copilot that can manage email. No individual setup needed. Your team's agent can create shared inboxes with `create_inbox` for things like CI/CD alerts or support tickets. Copilot can then `list_inboxes` to see what's available and get to work.
A Shared MCP Server for Your Org
Copilot can now read and process emails on your team's behalf. It uses `list_threads` to scan an inbox and `get_thread` to read a specific conversation, right from the VS Code chat panel. This is great for shared workflows. Imagine an alert email comes in. Anyone on the team can ask Copilot to fetch it, summarize the problem, and even grab log files sent as attachments with `get_attachment`.
Automate Responses & Notifications
Let Copilot handle the communication. It can `send_message` to notify a channel about a deployment or `reply_to_message` to acknowledge receipt of a support request. This works because the MCP Server configuration is shared. The whole team has a consistent, automated layer for email tasks, managed by the agent they already use every day in VS Code.
