How to Use the Airbyte MCP in Windsurf
Monitor your Airbyte pipelines right from your editor. Windsurf checks your sync jobs and connections autonomously.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Airbyte MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Airbyte to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Map your Airbyte architecture in Windsurf
Cascade uses `list_workspaces` to map out exactly where your data lives. You don't have to bounce between browser tabs to find out which environment is running. Ask your AI client to audit your setup. It pulls everything using `list_sources` and `list_destinations` so you know exactly what is feeding into your warehouse before writing a single line of SQL.
Track syncs with this MCP Server
Data pipelines break. When they do, Cascade runs `list_connections` to find the culprit fast. Instead of digging through logs manually, just ask what failed. The agent fires off `get_connection` to pull the exact configuration details, letting you fix broken mappings without leaving your code.
Audit job history automatically
Finding out why a specific sync stalled takes seconds. Windsurf calls `list_jobs` to grab the recent execution history for any connection. You get the exact run status right in your IDE terminal. If a source looks suspicious, `get_source` pulls the configuration so you can spot authentication errors or schema changes instantly.
