Connect Alai MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Alai to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Script Your Campaign Management
Tell your Cursor agent to script interactions with Alai. You can have it generate Python or JS code that calls `create_campaign` to start a new batch of headshots for the marketing site. The agent uses the real API response to write code that actually works. Then, extend that script to monitor progress. The agent can write a loop that periodically calls `get_campaign` and `list_generations` to check when the photos are ready. No more manually checking a web UI.
Code with Live Image Assets
This is where it gets good. Ask your agent to `list_assets` to find a specific team member's generated headshot. Cursor won't just show you the data; it will write the code to fetch and display that image on a webpage or in an app. You can build out a full gallery this way. Use `list_generations` to get all the new portraits from a run, then have the agent generate the corresponding HTML or React components. You're building with final assets, not placeholders.
Your Alai MCP Server in Cursor
This MCP Server gives your agent full control over your photo assets. You can use `create_asset` to upload a new source photo or `delete_asset` to remove an old one, all without leaving your code editor. Before you start, you can always have the agent run `check_getalai_status` to make sure the service is online. It's a simple ping that confirms your agent can talk to the Alai API.
