Script your entire survey workflow

This MCP Server connects Alchemer directly to your shell. Use it in scripts to automate tedious tasks. For example, write a simple bash script that runs hourly, uses `list_survey_responses` to check for new feedback, and triggers an alert if it finds any. You can pipe the JSON output from Claude Code directly into tools like `jq` for filtering or send it to another service via `curl`. It’s built for headless automation.

Run Alchemer reports in CI/CD

Integrate survey data into your development lifecycle. Add a step to your GitHub Actions workflow that calls Claude Code to pull the latest survey results. It's ideal for generating reports or checking quality gates. For instance, have your nightly build use `list_survey_reports` to find the weekly summary and post key metrics to a Slack channel. Set it up once, and it just runs.

Query survey data from the terminal

Sometimes you just need a quick answer without logging into a web UI. With this server connected, you can ask questions directly from your command line. Run `claude ask "how many surveys are active?"` and your agent will use the `list_surveys` tool to get you a number instantly. It's the fastest way to query your Alchemer account.

Common questions about Alchemer MCP in Claude Code

It's a single command. Run `claude mcp add --transport http alchemer -- ` in your terminal. You can verify the connection is working with `claude mcp list`. The configuration is saved in your `~/.claude.json` file.
Yes, absolutely. You can install Claude Code in a workflow runner, configure it with your Vinkius token via an environment secret, and then call the Alchemer tools as part of any job. It's perfect for CI/CD automation.
By default, Claude Code outputs JSON. This makes it easy to pipe the results from Alchemer tools like `list_survey_responses` into other command-line utilities like `jq` for parsing or `grep` for searching. You get structured data you can immediately use in scripts.
When you add the MCP server, Vinkius issues a long-lived bearer token that Claude Code stores in its local config file. Every request from the CLI to the server is authenticated with that token. You don't have to log in for every command.
Your agent can access Alchemer survey data, including responses, questions, and contact lists. Since Claude Code is a CLI tool, each transaction is ephemeral. Data is passed over a secure HTTPS connection managed by Vinkius and is only present in your terminal's stdout or piped to another process; it is not stored.
