Connect Amplitude MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Amplitude to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Debug tracking code with live data
The `export_events` tool pulls raw event payloads for a specific hour block formatted as YYYYMMDDTHH. Cursor uses this live data to verify that your newly written tracking code actually reached the analytics backend. When a specific test account goes missing, the `get_user_activity` tool grabs that individual's event stream. Your agent compares the live API response against your local source code to find exactly which trigger failed to fire.
Build features around user cohorts
You query how well a specific acquisition channel performs over time using the `get_retention` tool. It requires a start event, a return event, and a date range to calculate the drop-off curve. Grouping those retained users happens via the `list_cohorts` tool. Your AI client lists the behavioral segments already defined in your workspace so you can hardcode the correct cohort IDs into your feature flags.
Validate funnel events via MCP Server
The `get_funnel` tool accepts a comma-separated list of event names to calculate conversion rates across a specific flow. This lets you confirm that a multi-step signup process is actually logging every step in the correct order. Checking the overall impact of your changes requires the `active_users` tool. It pulls DAU, WAU, and MAU metrics directly into your editor pane, proving whether your recent bug fix actually recovered lost traffic.
