How to Use the Apidog MCP in Cursor
Import Apidog specs into Cursor to write code that matches your actual API schema.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Apidog MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Apidog to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Use Apidog schemas inside Cursor
Your AI agent in Cursor needs real context to write working code. Use `list_schemas` to pull your DTOs and entities directly into the editor context. This prevents the common issue of the agent hallucinating fields. You see the source of truth, not a guess.
Fetch live endpoints in Cursor
Stop hardcoding your API paths. Call `get_endpoint` during your coding session to confirm the exact request parameters for any route in your project. Cursor injects these details right into your open file. It saves you from constant tab switching to check documentation.
Sync your Apidog workspace
Keep your project structure aligned with your code. Using `list_projects` in Cursor lets you select the exact workspace you are currently working on. It keeps your agent focused on the relevant API definitions. You get faster results when the context is scoped correctly.
