How to Use the Aporia MCP in Windsurf

Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Aporia MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Aporia to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Let Cascade run the Aporia MCP Server
The Aporia MCP Server lets you check if your model is drifting without switching tabs. Windsurf handles that autonomously now. Tell Cascade to audit your production endpoints, and it pulls down everything using `list_models` and `get_metrics` without asking for permission. If it finds a spike in toxicity or off-topic responses, Cascade doesn't just alert you. It uses `trigger_monitor` to force an immediate evaluation run while you keep coding. You get the results right in your editor.
Test safety rules before shipping
Testing system prompts via the MCP protocol happens instantly in your editor. Writing prompts is easy, but making sure they avoid leaking PII is hard. When you draft a new prompt, Cascade tests it against your safety rules by passing the message array to `validate_guardrails`. You see exactly which inputs fail before you commit the code. If a prompt triggers a block, Cascade rewrites it and tests again. You skip the entire trial-and-error phase in staging.
Pull live dashboards into your IDE
Pulling Aporia telemetry into your IDE gives you the raw numbers to debug hallucinations. Instead of hunting for the right workspace in a browser, ask Windsurf to fetch the data. It calls `list_dashboards` to find the relevant views and `get_model` to grab the specific configuration. You get the context you need to fix the issue right next to your code. If the drift metrics look bad, you know exactly which file needs an update.
