Connect Appcues MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Appcues to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code with Real Appcues Data
Stop mocking API responses. In Cursor, tell your agent to `list_flows` or `list_segments`. It fetches the real data from Appcues, and you can ask it to write functions or tests using that exact payload. Need the structure of a specific flow? Use `get_flow` with an ID. The agent gets the JSON and can instantly generate a typed interface or a parsing function for it, right in your editor.
Manage Flows from the Editor with this MCP Server
When you're writing a deployment script, you can build in steps to manage user onboarding. Tell the agent to `publish_flow`, and it can generate the code to call the tool or just execute it directly. This also works for taking a flow down. Use `unpublish_flow` to retract an experience. It’s a simple command, and Cursor can help you script it for internal tools.
Debug User Events in Real Time
When you're building an integration that sends data to Appcues, you can test it without leaving your editor. Ask your agent to use `track_user_activity` with a JSON payload for a test user. This closes the loop. You write the code that generates the event, then immediately use the tool to send a test event. No more switching to a different app to see if your tracking works.
