Connect Asset Panda MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Asset Panda to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build UIs with Live Asset Panda Data
Tell Cline to build a component that displays all your company laptops. It uses the `list_objects` tool to fetch the data from your 'Laptops' group in Asset Panda. Then, it writes the actual code—React, Vue, whatever you use—to display that data. Cline doesn't just give you the data; it builds the thing you wanted to build *with* the data.
Script Bulk Changes to Your Inventory
Stop making manual edits one by one. You can tell Cline, "Write a script that finds every asset in the 'Printers' group and updates its location." It will generate the code for you. The script will use the `list_objects` and `update_object` tools to perform the operation. You can review the code, then have Cline run it and even stage the script for commit.
Test Code Against Real Asset Data with Cline
Before you ship code that interacts with your inventory, you need to test it. This MCP Server gives Cline the tools to help. First, it can use `get_account_check` to make sure the connection is good. Then, you can have Cline fetch a sample asset with `get_object` and write a unit test that confirms your code correctly parses the data. It's a solid way to prevent bugs in production.
