Automate Jira task execution with Cline
Give Cline a task and watch it pull the necessary Jira requirements using `search_issues`. It reads the ticket details so it knows exactly what to build. Once it has the issue info, Cline writes the code and runs the tests. It bridges the gap between your project management board and your repository.
Cline reads Confluence pages for documentation
Stop manually copying specs into your chat. Cline uses `get_page` to ingest your team's Confluence documentation as context for your current coding task. It understands the specs because it reads them directly from the source. This cuts down on the back-and-forth between your editor and your wiki.
Map out Jira projects using this MCP Server
Cline can list all your projects and boards via `list_projects` and `list_boards`. It builds a mental model of your infrastructure before it writes a single line of code. This visibility helps Cline plan changes that respect your existing team structure. It knows which project keys to target for specific updates.
