Connect AT&T Messaging MCP to Claude Desktop
Create your Vinkius account to connect AT&T Messaging to Claude Desktop and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Provision and Manage Shortcodes
The `create_shortcode` tool lets you provision a new number for your next campaign. Tell your agent the keyword you need, and it gets the process started, returning the provisioning status and a timeline for activation. When the campaign's over, just tell Claude to decommission the number using `delete_shortcode`. You can also use `get_keyword_responses` to check the auto-replies you have set up for things like 'HELP' or 'JOIN'. This MCP server gives you direct access to campaign logic.
Send Texts and Media from the Chat
Use `send_sms` to fire off a quick transactional message, like a one-time password or an order confirmation. If you need to reach a bunch of people at once, `send_bulk_sms` handles mass alerts or promo blasts to up to 164 numbers in a single shot. For marketing that needs a visual punch, the `send_mms` tool is what you want. Give your agent the recipient, the text, and a URL to the image or media. It's a fast way to send product shots or visual alerts without building a custom app.
Track Delivery and Read Replies
You need to know if your messages actually arrived. Ask Claude to check a message ID with `get_message_status` to see if it was delivered or failed. It's great for debugging failed sends on the fly. To see what customers are sending back, use `get_inbound_messages`. Your agent will pull the latest replies, including who sent them and what they said. For a broader view, `list_messages` gives you a full history for compliance checks or audits.
