How to Use the Audiomack MCP in CrewAI
Deploy a crew of autonomous AI agents with CrewAI to discover music, manage your Audiomack profile, and curate playlists 24/7.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Audiomack MCP to CrewAI
Create your Vinkius account to connect Audiomack to CrewAI and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Assemble a Music Discovery Crew
Assign a 'Scout' agent the job of finding new music. This agent's entire role is to use the `get_trending_music` and `get_recent_music` tools to gather a list of interesting new tracks. It doesn't decide what's good, it just finds what's new. The Scout then passes its findings to a 'Curator' agent. This second agent has its own set of instructions for what makes a good track. Based on your criteria, it uses `add_track_to_playlist` to build the perfect playlist, while the Scout is already out looking for more.
Delegate Artist Profile Management
Put a CrewAI team in charge of your artist presence. A 'Listener' agent can be tasked to periodically run `get_artist_uploads` for a specific artist. Its only job is to detect when a new song or album drops. Once the Listener agent detects a new release, it triggers a 'Promoter' agent. The Promoter's task is to immediately `repost_music` to get the word out. This division of labor is what makes CrewAI so effective for autonomous tasks.
Build a Playlist Maintenance Crew
Set up a crew to maintain the quality of your playlists. You can have a 'Validator' agent that periodically iterates through tracks in a playlist, checking if they are still playable. If it finds one that isn't, it uses `flag_music_unplayable`. A 'Janitor' agent is configured to act on those flags. It follows up by running `remove_track_from_playlist`, keeping your library clean without any human oversight. This MCP Server provides the specific tools your crew needs to get the job done.
Set up Audiomack MCP in CrewAI
Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+ installed
-
crewaipackage (pip install crewai) - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install CrewAI
Run
pip install crewaito install the framework. MCP support is built-in via themcpsparameter. - 2
Add the MCP URL to your agent
Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the
mcpslist. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically. - 3
Kick off your crew
Create a
Crewwith your agent and tasks. Callcrew.kickoff()— the agent will automatically invoke Audiomack tools as needed.
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew
agent = Agent(
role="Audiomack Analyst",
goal="Access and analyze Audiomack data via MCP.",
backstory="Expert analyst with direct Audiomack access.",
mcps=[
"https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
],
)
task = Task(
description="List recent Audiomack transactions",
agent=agent,
expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)
crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result) Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+ installed
-
crewai+crewai-toolspackages - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install dependencies
Run
pip install crewai crewai-tools. TheMCPServerAdapterhandles lifecycle management and tool conversion. - 2
Connect with MCPServerAdapter
Use
MCPServerAdapteras a context manager withSseServerParameterspointing to your Vinkius endpoint. The adapter automatically manages connection lifecycle. - 3
Assign tools and run
Pass the returned
mcp_toolsto your agent'stoolsparameter. The adapter converts MCP tools to nativeBaseToolobjects compatible with all CrewAI agents.
