How to Use the Authing MCP in Cursor
Inject live user identity data into your code using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Authing MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Authing to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync user identity data in Cursor
Feed live account details into your codebase by invoking `get_user`. You get real responses that you can use to build logic without hardcoding mock data. Use `list_users` to fetch active records when you need to write tests against actual production-style identity objects.
Check security configurations in Cursor
Query `get_security_settings` to read your current environment variables directly into your editor. It helps you catch misconfigurations before you commit. Use `get_audit_logs` to review past events while you write security-focused code. It keeps your context relevant and accurate.
Query organization structures in Cursor
Run `list_organizations` or `list_roles` to understand your backend hierarchy while you work on auth-related features. It saves you from constant tab switching. Fetch resource definitions with `list_resources` to ensure your code handles permissions exactly as they exist in your platform.
