How to Use the Avaza MCP in Cline
Give Cline the power to manage Avaza tasks and log time as it writes your code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Avaza MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Avaza to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Log development time directly from Cline
The `create_timesheet` tool lets Cline log your coding hours directly to your tracking board as soon as your tests pass. Once Cline finishes writing a component, it calculates your active coding time and submits the log. You no longer need to manually copy times from your editor to a browser. Cline queries your active projects with `list_timesheets` to make sure it never creates duplicate entries for the same task.
Sync your VS Code workspace with Avaza MCP Server tasks
The `list_tasks` tool lets Cline fetch your active backlogs and display them directly inside your VS Code sidebar. When you ask Cline to fix a bug, it finds the matching ticket, writes the fix, and uses `update_task` to mark it complete. This tight loop ensures your project board matches your actual git commits. Cline handles the administrative updates so you can focus on writing code.
Generate project structures based on code architecture
The `create_project` tool allows Cline to set up new tracking boards when you bootstrap a codebase. Cline analyzes your folder structure, defines the project scope, and registers it in your account. It then runs `create_task` to populate the board with specific technical milestones like database setup or API routing. Your tracking system mirrors your repository structure from day one.
