How to Use the BCLaws API MCP in Cursor
Write code that references real BC law by connecting the BCLaws API to Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect BCLaws API MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect BCLaws API to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject BC statutes into Cursor files
Trigger `get_bc_statute` while coding to pull verified legal text into your buffer. The agent places the exact language right where you need it. Stop guessing about legislative requirements while you build. You get real API responses injected into your editor rather than placeholders.
List all BC acts in Cursor
Use `list_bc_acts` to retrieve a complete index of provincial legislation. It helps you identify the right act to reference for your current project. Your agent parses this list to find the specific files you need. It keeps your code logic aligned with the actual statutes on the books.
Explore consolidated laws in Cursor
Run `list_consolidated_laws` to view active statutes and regulations as a group. This gives you a clear view of the legislative structure you are building against. Cursor reads these results to help you write better code. It saves you from manual lookups and ensures your logic stays grounded in the law.
