Standardize legal research across your team by deploying the BCLaws API MCP server in VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect BCLaws API MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect BCLaws API to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Team-wide BCLaws API access in VS Code
Commit your `mcp.json` to the repo so every developer has the same tools. Everyone uses `search_bc_laws` to maintain consistency across your engineering workflow. This ensures your team references the same legislative data. No more fragmented research or out-of-sync docs during development.
Automate statute lookups in VS Code
Call `get_bc_statute` through the Copilot chat to pull legal text into your project. It saves your team from digging through government websites manually. The agent handles the retrieval process quickly. You spend less time searching and more time building software that complies with provincial rules.
Monitor BCLaws API health in VS Code
Use `check_api_status` to ensure your tools are running correctly across the organization. It acts as a quick check for your team's configuration. You'll know immediately if the service is down. It prevents your developers from running into errors caused by connection issues.
