How to Use the Beamer MCP in Cline
Turn Cline into a product management engine that ships release notes and reads feedback without leaving VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Beamer MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Beamer to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Ship Changelogs from VS Code
Firing off `create_post`, Cline drafts and publishes your product announcements right alongside your code. It reads your merged pull requests and formats a readable update to push live. Fixing mistakes happens just as fast. If a broken link makes it into the release notes, the agent runs `update_post` to patch the URL or `delete_post` to pull the announcement entirely.
Fetch Beamer Stats via MCP Server
Cline uses `get_analytics` to pull engagement metrics directly into your VS Code terminal. Evaluating how users react to a new feature takes seconds when your agent handles the lookup. Skipping the web dashboard completely saves time. The agent pairs those stats with specific announcements via `get_post`, letting you see exactly which updates drove the most traffic.
Triage User Feedback
The tool executes `list_feedback` to grab recent customer complaints and feature requests straight into your editor context. It then digs into specific issues with `get_feedback_details`. Taking that raw feedback, Cline immediately scaffolds the necessary code changes. You tell it to fix the bugs users reported, and it builds the solution based on the text.
