How to Use the Bible API MCP in Cursor
Inject real scripture into your codebase with the Bible API and Cursor Agent mode.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Bible API MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Bible API to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Insert verses into code with Cursor
Ask the Cursor Agent to use `get_bible_verse` when you need accurate text for your project. The agent pulls the data and formats it right where your cursor is blinking. This removes the need for mock data or manual entry. You get the real string from the server in seconds.
Audit Bible metadata in Cursor
Trigger `get_bible_details` to verify version metadata before you build your application logic. It ensures your code references the correct Bible ID every time. This is useful when you are building apps that rely on specific translation versions. You catch errors before the code runs.
Search scripture inside Cursor
Use `search_bible_text` to find relevant passages while you write your code. The results appear in the chat panel, allowing you to copy them into your source files. It saves you from switching windows to find the right quote. You stay in the flow of your implementation.
