How to Use the Bitbucket MCP in Cline
Cline builds features by pulling live data from Bitbucket directly into your VS Code environment.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Bitbucket MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Bitbucket to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates Bitbucket data retrieval
Give Cline a task and it uses `list_repositories` or `list_commits` to gather the info it needs. It performs the legwork so you can stay focused on shipping features. It handles the API interaction behind the scenes. You get the data you need without writing a single line of boilerplate code.
Manage your Bitbucket workflow in Cline
Use `get_pull_request` to pull down PR details for your current task. Cline reads the context and suggests changes based on the actual discussion threads. It bridges the gap between your git history and your current code editor. You'll spend less time searching and more time coding.
Monitor Bitbucket pipelines within Cline
Run `list_pipelines` to check if your latest commit passed the build. Cline reports the status back to you immediately after the check finishes. If a build fails, you'll know exactly which commit caused the issue. It makes troubleshooting a much faster process.
