How to Use the Bitwarden MCP in Cursor
Inject live Bitwarden organization data into your code using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Bitwarden MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Bitwarden to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Query Bitwarden organization logs in Cursor
Use the `list_events` tool while you write code to check recent organization activity. You get the data as raw output for your agent to process. It helps you debug issues by showing you exactly when a user or policy change occurred. No need to switch tabs to check your audit trail.
Reference Bitwarden members inside Cursor
Call `list_members` to pull the current list of users into your coding context. Your agent can then write scripts or documentation using the actual names and roles from your organization. This keeps your code comments and access control lists accurate. You stop guessing who has access to which resources.
Audit Bitwarden policies within Cursor
Run `list_policies` to verify that your environment settings match your requirements. Your agent reads the output and flags any discrepancies in your codebase. It turns your security checks into a simple chat command. You maintain tighter control over your project dependencies and access rules.
