CrewAI agents reading BlogIn

Assign a research agent to scan your knowledge base using `list_posts` and `list_internal_pages`. The agent builds a report based on the latest company updates. Shared memory allows other agents in the crew to access these findings. They collaborate to synthesize information for your team.

Autonomous updates to BlogIn

Give your moderator agent access to `create_internal_post`. It writes summaries of team progress without you lifting a finger. Use `list_team_members` to ensure the post is relevant. The agent checks the list and targets the right group for the update.

Monitor comments via CrewAI

Set up a monitor agent to watch for new entries using `list_recent_comments`. It flags important feedback for human review. When a comment is found, the agent uses `get_post_details` to understand the context. It then files a ticket or notifies the right user.

Setup guide

Set up BlogIn MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke BlogIn tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="BlogIn Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze BlogIn data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct BlogIn access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent BlogIn transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)

Common questions about BlogIn MCP in CrewAI

Yes. You just provide the server URL in your agent definition. The crew will have access to all seven tools immediately.
Use the tool_filter parameter in your configuration. This limits which agents can read or write to your account.
It does. You can have a manager agent delegate tasks that require data from your wiki to a worker agent.
Use the standard HTTP transport for a stable connection. It allows your agents to run continuously without losing access to the server.
Your wiki pages and user emails are handled within a zero-trust environment. Vinkius ensures that only your authorized agents see the data.
