Windsurf executes multi-step updates

Cascade doesn't just read data. It chains `create_internal_post` with your current project files to document technical changes as you commit them. You tell the agent to summarize the latest sprint, and it runs `list_posts` and `get_post_details` to build the report without you switching tabs.

Manage team knowledge within Windsurf

Cascade pulls your company wiki directly into the IDE. It uses `list_internal_pages` to find documentation while you're writing code. Stop digging through browser bookmarks. The agent finds the info for you using `list_categories` to narrow down the exact technical context you need.

Monitor team chatter as an MCP Server

Keep tabs on feedback without leaving your editor. Cascade triggers `list_recent_comments` to show you what teammates are saying about your latest architectural proposal. This MCP Server keeps the team in sync. You get the full picture of your documentation health by checking `list_team_members` for contact context.

Set up BlogIn MCP in Windsurf

Prerequisites

  • Windsurf IDE installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)

  1. 1

    Open MCP configuration

Click the Cascade assistant icon in the sidebar, then click the hammer icon (🔨) at the top of the panel. Select "Configure" to open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.

  2. 2

    Add the BlogIn MCP

  4. 4
