Connect Brandwatch MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Brandwatch to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live social data into your Cursor code
The `get_mentions` tool lets your agent pull real social media posts directly into the files you are editing in Cursor. You can write and test parsing algorithms using real-world data instead of relying on outdated mock JSON files. Having this MCP Server active in your editor means you can instantly verify how your application handles different social media formats. Your agent writes the code, executes it against live API responses, and fixes bugs on the fly.
Sync Cursor code with Brandwatch dashboards
The `list_dashboards` and `list_projects` tools provide the exact structure of your active marketing campaigns directly to Cursor. Your agent reads your actual dashboard setups to scaffold matching UI components in your codebase. This direct link eliminates the guesswork of matching API keys to UI charts. You build front-end dashboards that align perfectly with your actual backend tracking setup using this MCP connection.
Verify Brandwatch queries in your editor
The `list_queries` and `list_tags` tools give your Cursor agent access to your exact tracking filters. You can write scripts that automatically check if your code references the correct query IDs. If you need to create new categories programmatically, your agent uses `create_tag` to update your workspace. This keeps your local development environment perfectly in sync with your live social listening setup.
