Direct Brevo API access in Cursor

Agent mode lets Cursor execute `send_transactional_sms` or `send_transactional_email` based on your code logic. You get real-time delivery triggers without context switching. Stop mocking your API responses. The server provides live feedback from your Brevo account to verify your triggers actually fired.

Manage CRM records inside Cursor

Use `create_crm_contact` to add users to your database while writing your registration flow. You can also call `update_contact_attributes` to sync user tags instantly. This keeps your implementation code and your CRM state in one window. Your agent handles the heavy lifting of mapping your data structures to the Brevo API.

Audit Brevo account status in Cursor

Call `get_smtp_account_details` to check your quota before running a batch test in your editor. Avoid hitting rate limits by building these checks into your agent prompts. Review your list structure using `list_contact_folders` before deploying new code. You have full visibility into your CRM setup without opening a browser tab.

  2. 2

Common questions about Brevo MCP in Cursor

Create a .cursor/mcp.json file in your project directory. Define the server path and include your Brevo API key to enable tool execution.
Yes, simply ask your agent to call `update_contact_attributes` during an edit session. It will parse your code variables and update the CRM record accordingly.
It allows you to test your transactional workflows in real-time. You can write the logic and verify the API response without leaving your workspace.
Your keys reside in your local configuration file. They are only used by the server process to authenticate requests to the Brevo platform.
The server only processes the CRM records you explicitly request. Your database information is handled through secure, ephemeral connections between your editor and the API.
