Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Brex MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Brex to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Issue Brex Cards Automatically inside Cline
The `brex_create_card` tool lets Cline generate virtual corporate cards on demand during your coding sessions. If you are writing a script that requires a dedicated subscription card, Cline executes this tool to secure the credentials. Cline doesn't just call the tool; it writes the card details directly into your local configuration file or environment variables. It then runs `brex_list_cards` to make sure the card is active and ready for your code to use.
Build Financial Dashboards with the Brex MCP Server
The `brex_get_balance` tool retrieves your current corporate cash balances so Cline can populate local dashboard components. You can tell Cline to build an internal status page, and it will fetch the live balance and write the React code to display it. It also runs `brex_list_transactions` to fetch recent transaction histories, writing test suites to parse the data correctly. This gives you a fully functional, live-tested financial component in minutes.
Manage and Pay Vendors in VS Code
The `brex_pay_vendor` tool processes payments to saved suppliers without you leaving VS Code. Cline reads your local invoice files, matches them with active vendors, and initiates the payment. If the vendor is new, Cline uses `brex_create_vendor` to register them first. It then runs `brex_list_vendors` to verify the registration before executing the payment.
