How to Use the Brivo MCP in Cursor
Integrate Brivo security controls into your coding environment with Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Brivo MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Brivo to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Query Brivo data in Cursor
Feed live site data into your code by calling `list_users` or `list_schedules`. You get actual API responses instead of static test variables. Use this to build automated security dashboards right inside Cursor. Your code interacts with real facility data as you type.
Audit access via Cursor
Run `list_access_events` to pull recent logs into your editor. You can analyze patterns in your security data without context switching. It makes troubleshooting access issues much faster. You see the raw events and can write logic to handle them immediately.
Command hardware from Cursor
Invoke `unlock_door` from your agent window to test your own security scripts. It executes the command on the actual hardware. Check `list_doors` to ensure your code targets the right entry point. You maintain full control over the physical environment from your IDE.
